Description:
The City of Maryville is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the milling and installation of hot-mix asphalt within the City of Maryville. The request is an opportunity for qualified contracting firms to present proposals to the City of Maryville for consideration. Attached is the bid package for the 2025 Asphalt Mill & Overlay Project. Please return bids no later than 10:00 a.m., local time, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, to the City Clerk-s office, 415 North Market Street, Maryville, Missouri, 64468, in a sealed envelope, marked “ RFP- 2025 ASPHALT MILL & OVERLAY PROJECT.” Bid specifications, which include plan sheets of the areas to be overlaid, can be obtained from the City Clerk-s office by calling 660-562-8001 or online at www.maryville.org. The City of Maryville reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The City will accept the bid which it deems to be in the best interest of the City, and will not necessarily be bound to accept the lowest bid. The job shall conform to the Missouri Prevailing Wage Laws Annual Wage Order No. 31. All bidders shall comply with the requirements of Section 285.530 RSMo, E-Verify, and OSHA Safety Training. Any required permits will be the responsibility of the contractor, along with all design criteria necessary for the construction/permitting process.
