Implementing Teaching Strategies for Rising Voices Library Professional DevelopmentScope of ServiceThe Bridgeton Public Schools district is seeking a vendor to provide professional development for the implementation of the Rising Voices Library. The Rising Voices Library provides students with a culturally relevant authentic text. The District already has the material needed but will need training on implementing the material in the classroom. The Rising Voices training shall provide:Training on how to build a culture that encourages independent reading Training to ensure students are contemplating what they readTo facilitate culturally responsive teaching Engage students of all backgrounds by providing unique and diverse charactersTraining to challenge students to think deeply while still maintaining the state standards.Training for a maximum of 25 participantsParticipants to include K-5 Teachers of ELA and Social StudiesTraining to be provided as training videos for participants to complete independently during common plannings or preps. Training to include components of books, lessons, and digital resources. References: All individuals or Agencies shall submit the names of no fewer than two (2) people from currently serviced clients as references.Contract Period:The term of the contract shall be for the 2024-2025 school year.
