Description:
1.The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is toidentify and engage a qualified meal delivery service contractor to manage andoperate priority congregate and home meal delivery services within Guadalupe,Wilson, and Karnes counties. The selected contractor will ensure theaccessibility and efficiency of delivery systems for older adults, providesupportive services funded under the Older Americans Act of 1965 (OAA), asamended, and the State of Texas, and contribute to the execution of the AlamoArea Agency on Aging (Alamo AAA) Strategic Plan. Additionally, the contractorwill be responsible for funding two staff members dedicated to maintaining seniorprogram operations at the Cibolo Senior Center and the Wilson County SeniorCenter, ensuring these facilities continue to meet the needs of the communitiesthey serve.2.The Alamo Area Council of Governments (AACOG) retainsthe sole and exclusive right to establish funding priorities for allsubcontracted services. This includes the discretion to allocate resources toensure compliance with program objectives, address community needs, and achievestrategic outcomes.
