- The City of Independence is seeking a qualified consulting firm with experienced principal staff to carry out an involved planning process that results in an updated 5-year HUD-approved Consolidated Plan with an updated Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing choice, pursuant to 24 CFR, Part 91. The Consolidated Plan serves as an application for entitlement Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) programs. The Plan is for the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2031. Submit questions regarding this RFP online at www.publicpurchase.com by the deadline in the RFP schedule.
