The City Of Alpharetta Has Issued Rfp 26-106, Drones As First Responders Program (proof Of Concept). We Are Seeking Proposals From Qualified Vendors To Implement A One-year Proof Of Concept Drone As First Responder (dfr) Program With An Option To Extend The Contract On An Annual Basis, For Up To Four (4) Additional Years (years 2¿5), Contingent Upon Satisfactory Performance, The Availability Of Funding, Demonstrated Program Impact, And Council Approval. This Initiative Aims To Enhance Public Safety Operations Across Police, Fire, Emergency Management, And Emergency Medical Services (ems). The Selected Vendor Will Demonstrate The Viability, Scalability, And Operational Value Of Drone-based First Response Capabilities.
