Description:
The City of Boston in partnership with the Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking proposals from experienced operators of music rehearsal spaces in the New England region to provide end-user engagement consultancy services to the Mayor¿s Office of Arts & Culture (MOAC) during the design process for the 290 North Beacon Street development in Allston. This project is a key strategic initiative for the Mayor of Boston, aiming to ensure that the needs of Boston¿s diverse music industry are thoroughly represented, in order to ensure the development's long-term success as an accessible and welcoming space for musicians of all backgrounds and genres. The consultant team will collaborate closely with MOAC, the Boston Housing Authority (BHA), and the 290 N Beacon design team to integrate the priorities and interests of the music community into the development's design and operations. The team should have experience representative of the many corners of Boston¿s vibrant music scene. As such, teams composed of an assortment of named subcontractors, or collaborations between multiple organizations are welcome.
