The California Constitution directs the JCC to improve the administration of justice by surveying judicial business, recommending improvements to the courts, and making recommendations annually to the Governor and the Legislature. The JCC¿s Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC) focuses on juvenile and family projects that improve the lives of children through positive changes in the trial and appellate courts¿ handling of matters involving children and families.This request seeks a proposal to provide at least 10 hours of interdisciplinary training on the service needs of youth and families to help empower courts and their partners to better address behavioral health issues of youth and their families who are experiencing mental illness and/or substance use disorder and who are currently in, or at risk for involvement in, the juvenile court system.
