- Description:
- The intent of these specifications, terms and conditions is to describe the needs and requirements of soliciting proposals from public, nonprofit, or for-profit organizations qualified to provide Health and Medicare Advocacy and Information services. It is the intent of the AAA to fund and support organizations who provide responsible stewardship for funds and programs and who approach services from the viewpoint of functional collaboration. Preference will be given to agencies who can best demonstrate a commitment to these principles in serving their communities and in designing cooperative, integrated support systems for elders.The County intends to award a one-year contract (July 1, 2026- June 30, 2027), with the option to review and renew for up to three additional one-year terms, based upon available funding and satisfactory performance. The successful bidder will be expected to provide services throughout the entire County. The contract will be awarded to the bidder selected as the most responsible whose bid response conforms to the RFP and meets the County-s requirements. The contract will be performance-based and reimbursement will be based on a line-item program budget.
