- Description : This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive proposals from experienced and qualified contractors to quantify biomass carbon for shrubland ecosystems plots across California, to be developed through field inventories and related to remote sensing metrics. This collection of biomass carbon data will be of sufficient quantity, spatial extent, and variation to represent the broad range of California's shrublands across existing climate, edaphic conditions, and disturbance regimes. This data will update entries within the State's Natural and Working Lands (NWL) Inventory methodology and support ongoing modeling of annual carbon stock change related to nature-based solution (NBS) implementation and climate change.
