- It is the intent of these specifications, terms and conditions to describe the continuum of school-based health and wellness services being requested by Alameda County Health (AC Health) to reduce health disparities and maximize health outcomes for youth and their families in West Oakland. As part of the Youth and Families Opportunity Initiative (YFO), services will be based at West Oakland Middle School and McClymonds High School, while also linked to the broader West Oakland community. The awarded Bidder will work in partnership with Healthy Schools and Communities (HSC) staff, school site and district staff, and other health and wellness partners, to design and provide services that address the unique needs of the West Oakland community.The County intends to award a 1-year contract for the approximate term of July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 (with the option to renew annually for 4 additional years) to the Bidder selected as the most responsible Bidder whose response conforms to the RFP and meets the County-s requirements. The amount of the contract shall not exceed $188,508 during the 12-month period, and Bidders may not request budgets above this amount in their proposal. The final contract amount is subject to successful negotiations with the County.
