- The Workforce Solutions Capital Area Workforce Board is soliciting proposals from qualified and eligible independent entities for the operation and management of career centers and the related programs/initiatives therein established by the Board and located in the Austin/Travis County workforce development area. The scope of work may include management of staff in satellite offices, as identified by the Board. The Board expects to enter into a relationship with a single contractor for the operation and management of its career centers and services as a result of this RFP. For the past two decades, Workforce Solutions Capital Area has offered career center services and youth services through two distinct contracts. Effective October 1, 2025, these services will be consolidated under a single contract. The career center services referenced in this RFP encompass youth services as well.
