Title: Reactive Power Compensation (RPC) Demolition and Construction Design & Engineering Services
Background: This Design Engineering subcontract will be a Best Value Trade off subcontract with a firm fixed price.
The scope of work includes a SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory approved A/E consultant to work with SLAC personnel to provide a detailed and constructible design for the following:
Demolition of two metal buildings (B308 & B311), their pad/foundations, removal of an existing synchronous condenser inside B308, and any underground utilities associated with the buildings Construction to install an equipment pad for two power factor correction systems (GFP), the systems themselves, and power and control feeders from the equipment to the master substation B016 The A&E firm will be responsible for providing a design consisting of harmonic study, drawings, specifications, calculations The A/E firm shall provide services for construction support services during the construction period of the facility, and complete record drawings from the as-builts.SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSEInterested vendors should express their interest on the SAM.GOV posting, Interested Vendors List, or by emailing the Procurement Specialist for this project.
