Description:
University of Houston is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms (each a Respondent”) for EZEKIEL CULLEN DOOR REPLACEMENT, NEW CANOPIES, REPLACE LOCKSETS AND CONCEAL ALL EXISTING ACCESS CONTROL EQUIPMENT (the “Project”), located at Houston-s Main Campus in Houston, Texas.Project Description. All labor, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary and reasonably inferable to replace and upgrade all exterior storefront doors and improve open/close action at all entry points to the Ezekiel building to include the three (3) sets of doors at Cullen Performance Hall Front Entry Lobby Doors. Conceal all existing exposed electronic control boxes above doors. Wall mounted wheelchair door release and card strike buttons must be integrated into the building façade. The addition of canopies at the two entry/egress stairs on the building east façade in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Zeigler Cooper Architect, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as EXHIBIT A.A mandatorypre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled Wednesday, August 28, 2024 @ 2:00 PM CT at Ezekiel Cullen, Bldg. 516, 4800 Calhoun Rd, Houston, TX 77004 in room 160 (first floor). Failure to attend the mandatory pre-submittal meeting will result in disqualification.Parking is available at Stadium Parking Garage, 3874 Holman St., Houston, TX 77204.
