- The City Of Thomasville Is Soliciting Statements Of Qualifications From Consulting Firms Interested In Providing Professional Design Services For The Balfour Park Improvement Project. The City Intends To Contract With One Consultant To (1) Complete The Design Development And Produce Construction Documents For A Preliminary Design Concept That Was Created For Phase 1 Improvements At Balfour Park And (2) Provide Support During The Corresponding Bid And Construction Phases Of The Project. The Consultant Is Expected To Offer A Variety Of Professional Design Services To Support The Park Improvement Project Described Herein, Including (but Not Limited To) Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, And Architecture, As Well As Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, And Aquatic Engineering Services As Needed. The City Intends For The Project To Be Ready For Bid In October 2025 And Desires Project Construction To Be Completed By Summer 2026.
