Description:
The City of Homestead invites Architectural and Engineering (A/E) firms to submit Statements of Qualifications to provide architectural and/or engineering services meeting minimum qualifications as outlined in this Request for Qualifications (the \"RFQ\"). It is the City-s intent to enter into an agreement with the most qualified A/E firm to provide project plans and design for the City of Homestead Wittkop Park Water Treatment Facility (Chlorination) Project. A contract will be negotiated and awarded to a firm based on the best interest of the City.This Request for Qualifications is subject to the Florida Consultant-s Competitive Negotiations Act, Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 31, Cost Principles. The firm shall comply with all Florida Department of Commerce (Florida Commerce) requirements pursuant to Agreement No. I0128 between State of Florida Department of Commerce and the City of Homestead.Funding for this project has been made possible through grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Program (CDBG-MIT). All procurement and contracting for these services shall follow state and federal regulations including but not limited to 2 CFR Part 200; 24 CFR Part 1, 24 CFR Part 6, 24 CFR Part 75; 24 CFR Part 85; 24 CFR Part 570.489, 570.490, 570.502, 570.506, 570.508, 570.509 & 570.609 as well as Attachment A (Attachment L-Contract Provisions).The City of Homestead is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages participation from MBE/WBE/DBE businesses.
