Description:
The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District (hereinafter Metro Fire or District) is soliciting statements of qualifications from licensed Architectural and Engineering (A&E) firms in order to establish a Pre-Qualified Shortlist of A&E firms eligible to compete for forthcoming contracts related to the planning, design, and construction delivery of multiple projects over the next several years. To meet the ongoing needs and anticipated growth of the communities it serves, the District anticipates future competitive solicitations for A&E services on a variety of design-bid-build projects including:Planning and design of new fire stations and related facilitiesRenovation of existing fire stations and related facilitiesImprovements on existing propertiesThis RFQ is not a formal agreement, rather it is intended to assist the District in determining which firms are responsible and sufficiently qualified to meet the District-s anticipated needs.A&E firms that have been added to the Pre-Qualified Shortlist in accordance with the process outlined herein will be invited to submit responses to future Requests for Proposals (RFPs) issued by the District for A&E services. The District anticipates issuing its first RFP for A&E services later this year.
