Description:
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

The proposed action will provide solid waste pickup for the Overton Brooks VAMC. It shall minimize spills and the exposure of waste to the environment during collection. The goal is to improve cleanliness, improve aesthetics, reduce infestation and promote healthier surroundings, for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. The contractor will provide solid waste pickup for a 12-month service plan. Interested parties may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on SAM.gov to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is unrestricted.
