Description:
The City of Mexico, Missouri is requesting qualifications for its 2025-2028 On-Call Aviation Engineering Services Contract. Qualifications shall be submitted no later than 3:00pm November 7 th, 2025 to the attention of Mexico-s Public Works Department at 300 N Coal St, Mexico, MO 65265. Potential projects include development of an airport layout plan, update to the five-year capital improvement plan, design and construction of a new fuel system, boundary and easement surveys, support for grant funding applications, and various other municipal airport work.Qualification information provided to the City shall include:A. Experience and Technical Competence: The specialized experience and technical competence of the firm with respect to the type of services required (30 points);B. Capacity and Capability: The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within the time limitations fixed for the completion of the project (25 points);C. Past Record of Performance: The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules (30 points);D. Proximity and Familiarity: The firm-s proximity to and familiarity with the area in which the project is located (15 points).Selection Process: Once the City selects the most qualified firm based on the above qualification evaluation, an engineering agreement will be negotiated. The engineering agreement may include services other than those listed above.Questions regarding Qualification statements should be directed to Mexico-s Public Works Department at 573-581-2100 (ext. 3).The City of Mexico, Missouri reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such proposal fails to satisfy the City that such firm is qualified to carry out the obligation of the contract and to complete the work as described.
