- SCOPE:In accordance with the provisions of Texas Government Code, Chapter 2254, Subchapter A, Professional Services, and Rules and Procedures adopted by the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC), TFC is requesting submittal of qualifications to provide prime professional mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services and other related professional and technical services as required to address multiple undetermined interior and/or exterior alterations to existing facilities primarily located in Austin, Texas. No work is guaranteed under this Contract. The size, quantity, and duration of project(s) assigned to the successful PE will vary depending on the number and types of projects requested by TFC-s client agencies. The contract compensation will be structured as an “hourly-not-to-exceed” fee per project with a total contract cap as per TFC Commission Policies, currently at $750,000.00, during each Term of the Contract (see Section 2, immediately below). PE will proceed with the work on individual projects only after the fee and scope proposal is formally approved and documented by the Contract Manager, a Purchase Order is issued, and a “Notice to Proceed” is issued to the Successful Respondents.
