Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) hereby gives notice of the Governments intent to negotiate a sole source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source, Pure Processing, LLC. The procurement is for VA Palo Alto Health Care System requesting to procure a custom PureSteel reprocessing sink and ergonomic table for the Office of Sterile Processing. This sink is from Pure Processing Healthcare and is precisely engineered for optimal ergonomic use, instrument protection, and complaint and effective pre-cleaning. Features include Push button lifter to adjust work height and enable easy maintenance. The PureSteel Signature Series Ergonomic Workstations are designed to enhance the Packaging and inspection or surgical trays and instruments through thoughtful, quality innovations.This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the custom PureSteel reprocessing sink and ergonomic table that can meet the agency s needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339113 (Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing) and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6515 (Medical and Surgical Instruments, Equipment, and Supplies). This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Telephone request will not be accepted.
