The City of Burlington (“City”) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) from qualified control systems firms primarily associated with completing a Programmable Logic Controller (“PLC”) upgrade at our Drinking Water Treatment Plant plus the potential for future plant automation work atour three (3) Wastewater Plants. Qualified firms will possess technical expertise, management andstaffing capabilities, references, and related prior experience. Required professional services will include but are not limited to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/Programmable Logic Controller (“SCADA/PLC”) design, Human Machine Interface (“HMI”) programming, system integration, panel construction and installation to ensure compliance with plans and specifications associated with turnkey SCADA/PLC replacement, as well as on-going maintenance and programming.The City is seeking qualified control systems firms to provide SCADA/PLC design, programming, system integration, panel construction and installation to ensure compliance with plans and specifications associated with turnkey SCADA/PLC replacement, as well as on-going maintenance and programming for all aspects of our Water Treatment, Pumping, Storage and Distribution and all aspects of our Wastewater system (plants and pump stations) and future combined sewer storage structures (real-time storage).
