Background On October 31, 2023, the Controller-s Office established a prequalified consultant list of firms (“Pool”) with demonstrated successful experience in IT Audit Services, that are prequalified to enter into contract negotiations with the City and County of San Francisco (“City”). Pursuant to San Francisco Administrative Code Section 21.4 (d) (3), the City intends to re-open the pool. Firms prequalified under the existing pool are not required to take any action to remain prequalified under this midterm opener RFQ, but may choose to submit updated information regarding their qualifications. Should firms prequalified under the existing pool choose to submit an updated proposal, it will be subject to the new evaluation. New Proposers are also invited to submit Proposals to this midterm opener RFQ to be considered for prequalification for the pool. This Request for Qualifications (hereinafter “RFQ” or “Solicitation”) is issued by The Controller-s Office (hereinafter, “CON” or “City”). CON, on behalf of all City Departments, is seeking qualified suppliers (“Proposers”) to provide proposals (“Proposal”) for information technology audits, assessments and consulting services. Multiple Service Areas: The Prequalified Pool will consist of two (2) Service Areas: 1. IT Audits and Assessments 2. IT Audit Consulting Services The City seeks Proposals from firms demonstrating successful experience in public sector IT audit and IT audit consulting services, particularly with municipal general-purpose governments. These services will be used to assist The Office of the Controller - City Services Auditor (CSA). In addition, other City departments engaged in IT services may utilize the services of the selected consultants. Proposers must have experience working with municipalities (or similar government agencies) on IT audit and assessments, and IT audit consulting services.
