Description
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) intends to enter into a sole source procurement with INTEGRATED MAINTENANCE AND BUS SVCS, 224 HARPERS FERRY DRIVE, LOCUST GROVE, VA 22508. NAICS 485991 Special Needs Transport will be used. The proposed contract action is for wheelchair van ride services.The Government intends to solicit to only one source under the authority of VAAR 819.7008, Sole source awards to verified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. The contract is anticipated to be for six months. This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotation. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government. No solicitation will be made available. The information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to the notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
