This procurement is for preventive maintenance services on proprietary Rigaku instrumentation located at the National Minerals Testing Laboratory (NMTL) in Worland, Wyoming.Purpose:Rigaku Americas Holding, Inc. will provide preventive maintenance services, including calibration and software updates, for the following instruments:• Rigaku SmartLab SE X-Ray Diffractometer• Rigaku Primus IV X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer• Rigaku MiniFlex 600N X-ray Diffractometer• Rigaku HX130CT CT ScannerThis requirement includes a base year plus three (3) option years.Justification:These instruments are highly specialized and require proprietary service from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Rigaku Americas Holding, Inc. is the sole provider with the necessary expertise, components, and software to perform these services. Engaging the OEM ensures accurate performance, minimizes downtime, and sustains the laboratory-s capability for high-throughput analysis of geological materials submitted by BLM offices nationwide.Responses:This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
