Tender are invited for Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:APPLICANT: Alaska Riverways, Inc.PROJECT NAME: LAS 35571GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The proposed land use permit is located on the north side of Tanana River approximately 800 feet downstream from the confluence of the Chena River.LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Fairbanks Meridian, Township 1 South, Range 2 West, Section 27REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Alaska Riverways, Inc. has applied for a land use permit for a bank stabilization project on state managed shorelands of the Tanana River. The purpose of the riverbank stabilization is to protect the riverbank and adjacent private property from erosion. The riverbank revetment will consist of placing concrete rubble and gravel along approximately 500 feet of riverbank. Access the site will be through existing roads. The proposed activity is expected to start in summer/fall of 2025.REQUESTED TERM: 5 YearsDEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: June 6, 2025The public is invited to comment on this activity.
