This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only solicitation.
The quotes shall reference the solicitation number W911RZ-25-Q-A007. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Carson intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to a total small business set-aside for the acquisition of the RNEC FI-MUE BATTERY REPLACEMENT at Fort Carson, Colorado. See Performance Work Statement (PWS) for details. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is NAICS Code: 335910, Battery Manufacturing, size standard 1250 Employees. This will be a totally small business set aside. The Product Service Code is J059 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment-Electrical and Electronic Equipment Components.
Description of Requirements
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to Furnish and Labor to install new Absolyte Value Regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery cells, modular steel tray housings, Positive +/Negative - terminate plate, and Frame Retardant Transparent Module Cover (plexiglass) with standoff for four (4) each Communications Nodes locations. The new battery cells shall be the same brands and equal in amp-hours and not refurbished or renewed. Two (2) locations shall have the same brands and equal in amp hours.
