- The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to define the County-s minimum requirements and gain adequate information by which the County may evaluate services offered by contractors or vendors. As used herein, the term Contractor or Vendor shall mean the Contractor, its Employees, or Agents.The County of Solano, on behalf of the Department of Resource Management, Public Works Division, hereinafter referred to as the “County,” is soliciting bids for road materials (asphalt cement, aggregates, and SS-1 oil, etc.), with one (1) or more Contractors for an approximate period of six (6) months starting January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. The tonnage amount indicated is the County-s best estimate of requirements for road repair and maintenance. No amounts or use of services are implied or guaranteed.
