- The City-s Solid Waste Department utilizes a waste disposal contractor for hauling “roll-off” containers for commercial customers. These are extra-large containers used to hold construction material or industrial-sized trash compactors. These containers are either owned by the City, contractor or customer. The Citys customers pay for these services on their City utility bill. The City pays the contracted hauler for delivering and emptying the containers. The City pays the associated disposal fees for the contractor to empty these containers at facilities authorized for use by the City.
