    SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.     Answers to Questions:

    Fundamental Questions:
    What is the customer load moment of inertia?
    -See sketch.
    What is the motion profile? (triangular or trapezoidal motion profile, travel angle, travel time, dwell time, etc.) -Trapezoidal or smoothest profile, want in the range of 360degs in about 1-4 seconds if at constant velocity. This system will be step-scanned ie: move 0.5deg, β€˜dwell- 0.5sec, repeat for 360deg. Orientation? Floor mounted, wall mounted, ceiling mounted? See sketch, pointed up or at 30degs from β€˜up-. It will be either position. It will be expected that the rotation axis will have to be re-aligned between this two positions. What is the environment? Assume just standard lab environment? Standard Lab Enviroment What is the 100mm between our rotary service and where they need 40nm runout? We can generally only guarantee from our rotary surface as that is all we control. We don-t control what interfaces between. See sketch & β€˜wobble-, Provide some information specific to your system. Is there any through hole requirements? It is assume this system has some sort of commutator ring in it-s core and the wires make it out to the rotating surface via some sort of connectors.
