SYNOPSIS-Rotary Wing Air Transportation Services-Fort Irwin CA. The United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM)/TCAQ is preparing to acquire air transportation via commercial scheduled service routes for the National Training Center (NTC) at Ft Irwin CA. The contractor shall furnish rotary wing air transportation of 5 passengers with baggage and occasional external slings loads from Bicycle Lake Army Air Field at Ft Irwin CA to destinations within a 200 mile radius. The helicopters are needed to transport technicians and equipment to austere locations to support the operation and maintenance of the NTC communications/instrumentation network, located on a mountain top. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, facilities, supervision, and direct materials necessary for the performance. Contractor will be required to base the aircraft at Bicycle Lake Army Air Field and it is estimated that 240 hours per year of airlift services will be required. Services are to be performed within a 200 mile radius of Bicycle Lake Army Air Field as directed by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Period of performance shall begin 1 April 2025 or date of award if subsequent thereto, through 30 Sep 2026, followed by four one-year option periods, through 31 March 2030, and possibility of a not to exceed six months extension under FAR 52.217-8. The solicitation for this acquisition will be available on or about 17 January 2025 and will only be available from the following SAM.gov website: https://sam.gov .
