The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District is planning a requirement for a firm-fixed-price, design-bid-build construction contract to build a new Deployable Airbase System (DABS) with facilities, vehicles, and equipment (FEV) in Rygge, Norway. The project-s anticipated magnitude of construction is between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00 with a construction duration of 830 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed (around October of 2026). USACE anticipates a solicitation will be issued in January of 2026 with a pre-proposal site-visit scheduled in February 2026, and a contract award around September 2026.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Rygge DABS / FEV construction project includes facility space for humidity-controlled warehouse storage, heated general purpose warehouse storage, vented general purpose warehouse storage, refueling vehicle maintenance, a fuel dispensing point, a vehicle wash rack, testing facilities, and a central plant. The purpose of these facilities is to provide material and vehicle storage, and administrative and maintenance support for the DABS - Facilities, Equipment and Vehicles assets.
