Description:
The Town of Florence will accept sealed Request for Proposals (paper copies only) for the acquisition of the historic Brunenkant Building located at 291 North Baily Street within the Downtown Florence Historic District until the date and time detailed in this solicitation. All sealed offers must be hand delivered on or before July 3, 2025, no later than 2:00 pm (Arizona Time) to the Finance Department-Procurement located at the Town of Florence Town Hall 775 N. Main Street, Florence, Arizona 85132.A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting is scheduled for June 5, 2025, at 9:00am (AZ Time) at the Brukenkant Building located at 291 North Bailey Street, Florence, Arizona 85132It is the Town-s desire to place this building into private ownership with the commitment to continue maintaining its historic integrity and be required to maintain the building in a building code compliant manner. The successful submitter will also be required to make the building available annually for the Town of Florence Historic Building and Home Tour. The town will require a restrictive covenant be recorded in the Pinal County Recorders Office along with the title transfer documents containing conditions for compliance by the owner that could also trigger a reversion of the title back to the town if the conditions are not satisfied. The specific parameters of such provisions will be negotiated as part of the final sale documents with the successful bidder.The Town of Florence reserves the right to accept or reject any part of any or all proposals as may be determined in the best interest of the Town.
