INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affaris Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 in support of the Durham VA Health Care System (VAHCS) intents to enter into a sole source with Excel Imaging Solutions, 73000 Cessna DR, Greensboro, NC 27409. NAICS code 334517, Irradiation Apparatuss Manufacturing. The proposed contract action is to provide the Durham VAHCS with a full-service coverage for preventative maintenance and repairs for Samsung GM85 mobile x-ray systems. The contractor shall provide preventative maintenance services and repairs of the Samsung GM85 mobile x-rays systems for six (6) systems to include; full-service coverage to include parts, labor, annual preventative maintenance, and detector, detector configuration, wireless detector battery coverage, GM85 system battery coverage, and remote support for unlimited technical and application support, and Samsung wireless detector accidental damage coverage as outlined in the Performance of Work Statement (PWS). The Government intents to solict and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting form a Single Source. Contract will be for a base year plus four option years not to exceed five years. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Gray Market items are Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) good sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors.
