This is not a solicitation or invitation for Offerors to submit proposals.
The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) plans to release a solicitation for a firm fixed price contract for the cleaning and gas free of sanitary tank #1 for a Virginia Class submarine in accordance with work package HIRMC-005-25. The required work shall take place at PHNSY & IMF. The tentative shipboard dates are from 02 September 2025 - 13 September 2025. Attached to this notice is a draft work package HIRMC-005-25.
This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-25-Q-1047. This pre-solicitation notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This posting is not a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
This requirement is a total small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repairing with a size standard for this NAICS code of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov/ database before an award can be made to them.
The solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or about 11 August 2025. Written offers shall be submitted in accordance with the CLIN structure and proposal instructions that will be outlines in the forthcoming solicitation, N32253-25-Q-1047. All offers shall be emailed to the primary and secondary point of contact listed in the upcoming posting.
