- The Palmdale Water District is accepting proposals from qualified vendors to upgrade the existing Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) / Operational Technology (OT) network.PWD completed a SCADA Master Planning project in August of 2023. The plan calls for a four-step approach to upgrading the existing SCADA / OT system to a state-of-the-art system that is ready for the next 25 years. The first step, Phase 1 - engineering design of a new SCADA network using the latest microwave technology has been completed.Phase 2 - New SCADA Network Implementation, Phase 3 - SCADA Server Virtualization, and Phase 4 - SCADAPack Upgrade and SCADA Standardization will be covered by this RFP as well as personnel training and continued maintenance and support of the implemented system.
