Description:
Minnesota PELSB (Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board) is seeking to procure a software application that can be configured to scan and store documents in their existing custom document management and workflow application (system acronym is PLD). It is envisioned that the vendor will provide a UI (user interface) that will have the ability to ingest scanned documents from PELSB scanners, as well as documents that are already in an electronic format (primarily pdf). The UI would allow the operator to view the ingested documents and query the PLD database (SQL Server 2019) to search for data allowing them to index the documents. The solution should be able to work with 32-bit and 64-bit scanners. After document review, the document and index values will be sent to the PLD database and file store. A database entry will be inserted with the indexed values of the document, and link to the stored document file location (pathname). The document will be stored in the existing file store, which is a secure internal file server. In addition, professional services from the vendor are requested to install and configure the solution. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Responses to this RFP will only be accepted via the SWIFT Vendor Portal.
