THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order, for the purchase of a Specialized Security Door to convert an identified space into a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at Kodiak, Alaska. The vendor will be Six Mile Nika JV, LLC, 3900 C St, Ste 100, Anchorage, AK 99503-5962, UEI: CC2RYN15JUR8. The delivery date shall be 6 months from the date of the purchase order.
This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other vendor can satisfy agency requirements. Six Mile Nika JV, LLC, is the USCG-s Base Operations Support Services (BOSS) contractor, responsible for the repair and maintenance of USCG Base Kodiak assets. The contractor will be responsible for the installation of the door, as well as preventative and operations maintenance as part of their scope of work. They must have privity of contract with the door manufacturer to enable direct support to minimize risk if there are delivery or warranty issues. USCG Base Kodiak, Kodiak AK 99615, will be the procuring entity for this effort. Performance will be located at Kodiak AK 99615. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 332321.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 11 Jul 2025, at 1:00 p.m., Alaska time.
