PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE
Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East, has a requirement for ice machine maintenance, repair, and training on use of equipment. The maintenance is for seventeen (17) Scotsman Ice Machines, to include all necessary supplies, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation. Service and training will be provided aboard the School of Infantry-East, Camp Geiger, NC.
It is the Government-s intent to issue a firm fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% Small Business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811310. The NAICS Industry Description is Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Subpart 13.5 (Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services).
This pre-solicitation notice is not a request for quotes. The solicitation (M6700125Q1066) will be posted on or about five (5) days after this posting and made available on the Contracting Opportunities portal located at www.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to monitor the website for the solicitation and any associated amendments. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov is required for entities to do business with and receive funds from the federal Government. Businesses will be assigned a Commercial and Government Entities (CAGE) Code and a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number via the SAM website. Contractors must also be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.piee.eb.mil.
