This is an INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE NOTICE only.

This is an intent to sole source notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This announcement constitutes the only notice of intent to sole source and synopsis of proposed action.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VHA, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract to ScriptPro USA, Inc due to the proprietary nature of the equipment. The contract will be a Firm Fixed award. The statutory authority for this noncompetitive acquisition is FAR 13.106- 1(b) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1.

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811210, and the FSC/PSC is J065. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and award an Open Market Sole Source Firm Fixed award for a one-year, full-service contract for maintenance on the ScriptPro Prescription Dispensing System for the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans- Hospital at 800 Hospital Drive in Columbia, MO 65201-5275.

Provide routine maintenance for the ScriptPro systems and associated existing equipment. This equipment is used to dispense and package medications for patients. ScriptPro is the original and sole OEM manufacturer and service provider for the existing ScriptPro equipment.

ScriptPro manufactures, installs and supports the ScriptPro Equipment. The ScriptPro Equipment is proprietary and may only be purchased through ScriptPro or from its authorized distributor, Veterans Healthcare Supply Solutions. ScriptPro is the sole source service provider of the ScriptPro Customer Technical Support Plan.
