This is a notice of intent, NOT a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will NOT be issued, and quotations will NOT be requested.
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) plans to issue a fixed-price purchase order on a sole-source basis to Sebia Inc., located in Norcross, Georgia (ZIP code: 30093-2991). The purpose of this acquisition is to procure proprietary Sebia reagent kits, quality control materials, and supplies necessary to continue electrophoresis testing for patient care within the Chemistry Service of the Department of Laboratory Medicine.
Sebia Hydrasys B1/B2 reagent kits are designed for the separation and quantification of proteins in human serum and urine using agarose gel electrophoresis. These kits offer enhanced resolution and sensitivity, particularly for detecting monoclonal bands. The Sebia Hydrasys IF reagent kits are intended for the detection and identification of monoclonal proteins through immunofixation electrophoresis. Both the B1/B2 and IF kits play a crucial role in monitoring patients with B-cell malignancies, such as Multiple Myeloma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, who are undergoing treatment at Clinical Centers.
