This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 6913G625Q300041 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation document and Incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2025-04, effective 06/11/2025. The NAICS Code is 541330; the Small Business size standard is $47M.
The U.S. Department of Transportation, John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), in support of sponsoring agencies, the Volpe Center provides transportation planning, technical research and analysis services other agencies with transportation related components. The Volpe Center activities will primarily ensure compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and its implementing regulations at 36 CFR Part 800, in accordance with the attached statement of work.
REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS
The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order with a base (CLINs 00100, 00200, 00400, 00600 and 00700) and five optional CLINs (00300, 00500, 00800, 00900 and 01000), as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation.
