Network Contracting Office 6 intends to release a Solicitation for Construction Services for the Security Camera Up Grade at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, NC. All works shall be completed in conformance with Government produced specifications and drawings. Work is composed of, but not limited to, management and performance of construction period services, permitting, demolition, construction, construction management, submittals, including general construction, electrical, thermal & moisture protection, scheduling, quality control, inspection/testing, environmental protection, recording (As-Built) drawings, and project closeout.A Pre-Proposal Site Visit is tentatively projected for 12 March 2024 at 1:00 PM EST, and Potential Offerors are required to RSVP no later than 12:00 PM EST 27 February 2024 via email to quentin.norvell@va.gov. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to confirm receipt of RSVP. It is the responsibility of the Potential Offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, tooling, and materials necessary to the Pre-Proposal Site Visit. The Government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The Government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or proposal preparation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 with a size standard of $19 million. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 29 February 2024 with an approximate response date of 29 April 2024 1:00 PM EST.
