This Sources Sought has been extended to 30 April 2025.
This is a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government from an ultimate acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. Requests for solicitation will not receive a response. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey. The U.S. Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this source sought. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this sources sought.
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) is seeking potential sources to provide a flat washer. The washer will work in conjunction with a lock screw on a small adjustable spanner wrench. This requirement is for materials only and no service(s) will be required.
At a minimum the flat washer will meet the following specifications and guidance.

WASHER SHALL COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF MIL-DTL-19595D. (CONTACT) PASSIVATE AS PER EITHER ASTM A967 OR SAE AMS-2700. MATERIAL: CRES, SAE AMS-QQ-S-763, CLASS 310, CONDITION AEXPLANATION
AMS-QQ-S-763: A federal specification for stainless steel bars, wire, shapes, and forgings
Grade 310: A medium carbon austenitic stainless steel
