This requirement supports VHA's mission by providing contractor support services to help bring the facility into full planned operations that will provide research services to Veterans. This will be a firm-fixed-price contract with an estimated Period of Performance of (34) thirty-four months.The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) in the Western Los Angeles VA region has elected to construct a new animal research facility to replace seismically deficient buildings 47 and 103 on the Sepulveda VA Medical Center. This new 7,500 GSF facility will be an addition to the existing building 7 located at Sepulveda VA Medical Center, 16111 Plummer Street, North Hills, CA 91343. The new addition shall include approximately 7,500 sf of research accommodation. The new addition will include a loading dock and an elevator to access the Second Floor of the existing building.This requirement will be set-aside 100% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs) using FAR Part 12, 13 and 37.
