The purpose of this SSN is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources, their size classification, and their socio-economic status relative to the specified NAICS code. The responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses, a formal solicitation may be published on SAM.gov.
Project Description:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, has a requirement for a non-commercial construction project at the Shenango Ranger Station building in Hermitage, PA. The scope of the project includes, but is not limited to, the following modifications:
Removal and disposal of existing cedar siding, insulation, furring boards, and associated roofing components like gravel stops and flashing.
Temporary removal, relocation, and reinstallation of building-mounted equipment, including electrical service lines, internet cables, exterior lighting, and air conditioning units, while ensuring continuity of service.
Installation of new 2x4 treated lumber furring, 1-½ inch insulation, and approximately 2,500 square feet of lap cement fiberboard siding, trim, and flashing.
Installation of new roofing components, including aluminum gravel stops and flashing, tied into the existing EPDM roof.
