Pre-Solicitation Notice for Winter Work Shotcrete at Eisenhower Lock. This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE; it is not a solicitation announcement, therefore this synopsis neither solicits for proposals and no contract will be awarded based on this synopsis. The purpose of this synopsis is to advise the public that the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation (GLS) has a requirement for concrete rehabilitation at Eisenhower Lock in Massena, NY. Each winter GLS performs inspections and winter maintenance on Eisenhower Lock. Inspections during previous winter maintenance periods have indicated the need for concrete rehabilitation at Eisenhower Lock. The intent of this project is to perform concrete rehabilitation in these damaged areas, including the demolition of concrete and installation of steel reinforcement as necessary. The Eisenhower Lock is located at 190A and 76 Barnhart Island Road (North and South sides, respectively), Massena, NY 13662
The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal, RFP # 6923G525R0627 is assigned. The requirement will be a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside using NAICS Code 238110 with a Size Standard of $19.0M. The resulting award will be a firm fixed price contract under FAR Part 15. Pursuant to FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this construction project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
