This proposed contract action is for a service in which the Government intends to award a firm fixed-price equipment repair contract with only one source; Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc., 221 Gregson Drive, Cary, NC 27511 under the authority Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source. Places of Performance: Department of Veterans AffairsBuffalo VAMCRadiology Department3495 Bailey AvenueBuffalo, NY 14215Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Special Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing immediate repairs for the Siemens YSIO MAX at Buffalo VAMC, New York. General RequirementsThe contractor shall provide all new standard OEM parts required to repair the Siemens YSIO MAX X-Ray System Parts warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of installation. Upon completion of the repair, the Contractor will provide an electronic copy of the field service report (FSP) to the COR. The Contractor must warrant that all repair services will be performed according to currentmanufacturer s specifications for such equipment.Response:Responses to this Special Notice should be able to demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to deliver the service listed above.
