The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Operations (OO) is conducting this Sources Sought to identify interested and qualified Small Business Contractors who possess the capabilities and availability to propose on the subject project. A summary of the project details is provided below.
SCOPE: Furnish all labor, material, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies necessary to complete the work according to the contract terms, conditions, and attachments. Work includes but is not limited to:
• Mobilization •Contractor Staking • Excavation • Road Reconditioning • Roadway Reclamation • Asphalt Pulverizing • Aggregate and Fill Placement • Paving • Bollard Installation • Parking Lot Markings
LOCATION: The Jamie L. Whitten Building (called Whitten for short) is located along the National Mall near the Smithsonian Metrorail stations on Independence Avenue. Lot #9 is a parking lot that is bound by a landscaped area known as the People-s Garden to the north, the 12th Street to the east, the Whitten Building to the west, and the Independence Avenue to the south.
MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT: Government Cost Estimate, per FAR 36.204, is between $1 million to $5 million.
PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The performance period is anticipated to be 180 days but is considered negotiable.
