Description
The Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) - Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to Sirona Dental, Inc. located in Long Island City, NY, CAGE Code: 6VQF4. The period of performance will be 5 (five) years from date of contract award. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 541512 with a size standard of $34M.
The statutory authority permitting acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 USC 254(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements).Sirona Dental, Inc. is the only source currently capable of providing the required Dentsply Sirona CEREC Sustainment. Dentsply Sirona CEREC Sustainment provides extended equipment warranty, software updates, training and portal support for Sirona CEREC CAD/CAM equipment owned by the U.S. Army, Navy, and USAF. There are no other commercially available extended warranty, software or support that can meet the Government requirement as it is specific to the original equipment manufacturer.This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for competitive proposals.Therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement.
