Purchase NDAA compliant Blue UAS Skydio X2D for the 87th Security Forces Squadron (SFS). In order to close the equipment and technologies gap Defenders face, the Skydio X2D will be a force multiplier for our patrols conducting Random Anti-Terrorism Measures, searches and accident recreation across the 48000-acre Joint Base. Utilizing the X2D gives the capability of 10KM Range that alleviates the strain on patrol vehicles and personnel traversing difficult environments. This drone is equipped with a Sony IMX577 camera with a 4k/60FPS video resolution and 16x digital zoom. Also, a FLIR uncooled Vox Microbolometer for thermal imaging with a resolution of 320x256. Utilizing the thermal imaging the X2D can be used for locating lost/missing individuals as well as nefarious characters attempting to hide from Patrols and FCI security officers. The X2D has vehicle and person tracking for the ability to track gate runners or on foot pursuits to assist in officer safety during these dangerous scenarios. As a safety precaution the X2D has omnidirectional obstacle avoidance by utilizing 6 cameras in trinocular configuration top and bottom for a true 360-degree coverage. Skydio also has a 3Dscan software that can be added to the X2D that allows for complete autonomous adaptive mapping. 2D or 3D capture even in GPS-denied environments. - Documents:
